NeuroBridge stores the following types of information that you voluntarily enter:

Contact Information: Names, nicknames, and relationship details of people you add to the app
Interaction Logs: Notes about conversations and interactions you choose to record
Social Energy Data: Your self-reported daily energy levels
Reminder Preferences: Your notification preferences and scheduling settings

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device. NeuroBridge uses Android's Room database to store your information directly on your phone or tablet. Your data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Data Backup

Android's standard backup functionality may include NeuroBridge data if you have device backup enabled
You control this through your device's backup settings
Future versions may include optional encrypted cloud backup (this will require explicit opt-in)

Permissions

NeuroBridge requests the following permissions to function:

Required Permissions

Notifications	To send you gentle reminders about staying connected with the people you care about
Vibrate	To provide haptic feedback for notifications
Exact Alarms	To schedule reminders at the specific times you choose
Boot Completed	To reschedule your reminders after your device restarts

Optional Permissions

These permissions are only requested when you use specific features:

Read Contacts	To import contacts from your phone's address book (only when you choose to import)
Record Audio	To use voice-to-text for logging interaction notes (only when you use this feature)

You can deny optional permissions and still use the core functionality of the app. You can revoke permissions at any time through your device's Settings app.

Data Security

All data is stored in your device's private app storage, which is sandboxed from other applications
Data is protected by your device's built-in security (screen lock, encryption)
We recommend enabling full-device encryption for additional protection

Children's Privacy

NeuroBridge is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to the app, please contact us.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device for as long as you use the app
You can delete individual contacts, interactions, or other data at any time within the app
Uninstalling the app removes all NeuroBridge data from your device
We have no copies of your data to retain or delete

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

Access: View all your data directly in the app
Correction: Edit any information at any time
Deletion: Delete any or all data whenever you choose
Portability: Future versions will include data export functionality
