โณ Reset

Last updated: July 29, 2026

๐Ÿ”’ Reset does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app does not request the Android INTERNET permission, so it cannot send data off your device even in principle.

Reset is a fasting timer and metabolic tracker for Android. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: it does not send your information anywhere, because it has no ability to.

Information the app stores on your device

Reset saves the following locally, in the app's private storage, so your history survives between launches:

  • Your fasting sessions โ€” start time, end time, chosen plan, and target length
  • Your selected plan and any custom fast length you set
  • Your notification preferences (whether coaching and hydration reminders are on)
  • Whether you have seen the safety notice

Streaks, levels, badges, trends, and scores are not stored. They are recalculated from your session history whenever they are displayed.

Information the app does not handle

  • No account, sign-up, email address, or password
  • No name, phone number, or contacts
  • No location data
  • No weight, body measurements, or health-record data
  • No photos, files, camera, or microphone access
  • No advertising identifier, and no advertising
  • No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting
  • No third-party SDKs that collect data

Sharing

None. There is no server, no third party receives your data, and no data is sold or disclosed. The developer has no access to your fasting history.

Android backup

Reset participates in Android's standard Auto Backup. If you have device backup enabled in your Android settings, your Reset data may be copied to your own Google Drive account so it can be restored when you set up a new phone. This is a platform feature operated by Google under your Google account and your settings โ€” the developer cannot see or retrieve it. You can turn it off in Settings โ†’ Google โ†’ Backup, or per-app where your device supports that.

Permissions the app requests

  • Notifications โ€” to deliver fasting-stage alerts, hydration check-ins, and completion notices. Optional; the app works without them.
  • Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) โ€” so a stage alert fires at the right minute instead of up to an hour late. Optional; without it the app falls back to inexact alarms.
  • Run at startup โ€” to re-register your pending alarms after a reboot, an app update, or a clock or time-zone change. Without it, a restart would silently cancel the rest of your fast's notifications.
  • Vibrate โ€” for notification feedback.

Children

Reset is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Fasting is not appropriate for people under 18, and the app's safety notice says so.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling Reset removes everything the app has stored. You can also clear it at any time from Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ Reset โ†’ Storage โ†’ Clear storage. Because nothing is held on a server, there is no deletion request to make and nothing for the developer to erase.

Not medical advice

Reset is an educational tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Consult a qualified clinician before changing how you eat.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
