Eight trades, one point of contact.

AGP Maintenance · Property maintenance

A Melbourne maintenance company covering plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and more for homes, businesses and strata. The website had to make a broad trade list feel like one dependable team.

The challenge

A business that does a bit of everything can easily look like it specialises in nothing. AGP Maintenance takes on eight trades and three very different kinds of client: homeowners with a single repair, businesses that cannot afford downtime, and property managers juggling tenants and landlords. Each of them needed to find their own reason to call.

The approach

Lead with a calm, architectural look instead of tool-belt clichés, so the company reads as organised before anyone scrolls. Then give the breadth structure: every trade gets a numbered place on the homepage and a page of its own, each type of client gets its own section, and every path ends at the same quote form.

Breadth, with structure

Every trade on one panel.

The full service list sits on a single dark band, numbered one to eight, so a visitor sees the whole offer at a glance and can go straight to the trade they need. Directly underneath, six short reasons to choose AGP answer the questions people have about any tradesperson: licensed, insured, on time, and clear on price.

A page for every trade.

Someone searching for a plumber wants to land on plumbing, not a general list. Each of the eight services has its own page built from the same template: what the trade covers, how renovations and preventative work are handled, and the licensing behind it, finishing with a direct line to get in touch.

Three kinds of client

Homes, businesses and strata, each spoken to directly.

A homeowner, an office manager and a strata agent want different things from the same tradesperson. The sectors section gives each one a short, specific paragraph and tags for the property types covered, from apartments to warehouses to rental portfolios.

The enquiry

The quote form asks which trade.

With eight trades under one roof, a generic message box would leave AGP guessing. The form asks for the trade up front, so each enquiry reaches the right person already sorted. Next to it, the FAQ deals with the questions that stall a call: how pricing works, whether quotes are free, and whether a job is too small.

Where it stands

AGP Maintenance now hosts and runs the site themselves.

The screenshots on this page were captured from the live site in October 2026, so they show the design as we handed it over. If you run a trade or maintenance business and want something built along the same lines, we would be glad to talk it through.
