Website Redesign Services Melbourne

Redesign an existing business website with a clear scope: retain useful content, improve the enquiry journey, and plan URLs, migration and launch checks.

A clear scope, agreed inclusions and a written proposal before work starts.

Retain, improve or rebuild

Start with what customers need to do and what your team needs to maintain. We work from your current website, content and available analytics to agree which changes belong in the project.

How we scope a website redesign
ApproachWhen it fitsWork to agree
RetainUseful content, working integrations and suitable URLsInventory the pages, assets, accounts and workflows to keep
ImproveUnclear services, dated layouts or a difficult enquiry journeyDesign, content structure, mobile layouts and form behaviour
RebuildThe platform cannot support the required experience or editingNew implementation, content or data migration, redirects and handover

What the agreed scope covers

  1. Review and brief: current pages, customer actions, editing requirements, integrations and the evidence available about performance.
  2. Design and content: page templates, responsive layouts, retained copy, new content responsibilities and review rounds.
  3. Migration plan: old-to-new URL mapping, content transfer, canonical URLs, internal links and sitemap updates. Data migration is scoped separately when needed.
  4. Launch and handover: form delivery, mobile and keyboard checks, agreed analytics events, deployment and rollback steps, account access and support responsibilities.

Copywriting, photography, branding, third-party subscriptions and ongoing SEO are included only when listed in the proposal. A redesign does not guarantee rankings, traffic or revenue.

Examples of the work we deliver

Clear Ground Excavations

Prepare for a useful scoping conversation

Bring your existing URL, the main problem to solve, content you want to keep, editing needs, connected systems and launch constraints. We will confirm the proposed work and price before you commit.

Questions before you start

Do I need a full rebuild?

Not always. We first review the customer journey, content, editing needs and platform constraints. A focused design or content improvement may solve the problem. We recommend a rebuild when the existing setup cannot reasonably meet the agreed requirements.

Will a redesign preserve my Google rankings?

No provider can guarantee rankings. We inventory existing URLs, retain useful pages where possible, map necessary redirects and check canonical URLs, internal links and the sitemap. Search Console checks after launch help identify issues that need attention.

How much does a website redesign cost?

The price depends on what is retained, the new design and content scope, and any platform or data migration. We quote after reviewing the existing site and agreeing the deliverables, exclusions, GST treatment and ongoing responsibilities.

Can you keep our current platform?

Yes, when it supports the required editing, integrations and customer journey. Blu Mint Digital works with WordPress and Next.js, and considers other platforms when they fit. A platform change needs a specific reason and a migration plan.
